I recently bought a Redmi Note 13, and after just 14 days of use, the display stopped working. I visited the Maharagama shop where I purchased it and explained the issue. To my disappointment, they informed me there was no display warranty, despite the phone being almost brand new.
When I bought the phone, they asked me to leave a Google review right away. However, how can anyone provide a genuine review without properly using the product first?
Here are the reasons for my dissatisfaction:
Lack of Transparency: They did not clearly explain the warranty exclusions during the purchase. Important details like the absence of a display warranty should be explicitly communicated.
Poor Customer Service: Instead of offering a solution or showing concern, the staff dismissed my issue, which reflects poorly on their customer service.
No Documentation: I wasn't provided with clear terms and conditions regarding the warranty. It's crucial to offer proper documentation to avoid misunderstandings.
Rushed Feedback Requests: Asking for a review immediately after purchase is unreasonable and misleading, as the product hasn’t been used enough to form a genuine opinion.
I strongly advise anyone planning to buy from them to ask detailed questions about warranties, get everything in writing, and avoid rushing into leaving reviews. Based on my experience, their service and after-sales support are inadequate, leaving customers to bear the cost of their inefficiencies.and also diplay replacement they asked 22,000 rupees. even single demage not ion mobile.... may be this people selling 2nd product ??? , finally i went normal shop and replacement the display, but not best quality. just think 14 days how display can demaged ? wrong business module
